MINIMALLY INVASIVE DENTISTRY- Principles, Diagnosis, and Biological Management of Dental Caries

Dr. P. V. S. Deepa Lakshmi, MDS, is a specialist in Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry, with postgraduate training from SIBAR Institute of Dental Sciences, NTR University of Health Sciences. She completed her BDS from V.S. Dental College, Bangalore, under RGUHS. She has extensive clinical experience in comprehensive pediatric dental care, including management of special healthcare needs and treatment under general anesthesia. Her clinical expertise includes pediatric restorative and endodontic procedures, esthetic rehabilitation, and minor orthodontic and surgical interventions. Her postgraduate dissertation focused on salivary diagnostics in insulin-dependent diabetic children. She has presented scientific papers at national conferences and is a member of IDA and ISPPD. She is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry at NMIRA Dental College.Co-author - Dr. Karteek Eswara is a Professor of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry with over 10 years of teaching and clinical experience. He holds an MDS from SIBAR Institute of Dental Sciences. He has actively contributed to academia through 12 peer-reviewed publications, national conference presentations, served as a DCI inspector, and given guest lectures. His areas of interest include pediatric restorative dentistry, preventive dentistry, and dental education. A life member of ISPPD and IDA, Dr. Eswara is dedicated to advancing child oral healthcare through clinical excellence, teaching, and research. Currently working as a Professor at Vinayaka Missions Sankarachariyar Dental College, Salem.
