Description

Chandrasekhar, called affectionately as Uncle by many who come to his library, is truly an aficionado of books as well as life itself. He started the library 50 years ago even as he was working in BEL. After voluntary retirement in 1996, he has spent both mornings and evenings in his one-room library in JP Nagar. He remembers not only the names and stories of the members, but also the number of their accounts! In particular, he has a soft spot for the youngsters and always has a message for them.

Like the books in this library, he himself is an ever-smiling repository of stories. This book contains a sample of his many messages that have been inspired by everyday life and people that he encountered in his library.
