Wound Healing After Periodontal Therapy: Redefining Healing Standards in Periodontal Care

Dr. S. Lakshmi Narayanan obtained his BDS in 2017 and his MDS in Periodontology in 2022 from Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences, (Govt. of Puducherry Institution) Puducherry. He currently serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontology at the same institution, where he is actively involved in both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. He has authored and co-authored several research papers published in reputed national and international journals. His academic journey reflects a strong commitment to learning, research, and contributing meaningful knowledge to the scientific community. Through his clinical experience and academic involvement, he strives to simplify complex periodontal concepts and promote evidence-based practice. His primary fields of interest include implantology, periodontal regeneration, and host modulation therapy, which guides his academic activities and clinical practice. This book is a reflection of his passion for teaching, learning, and enhancing the understanding of periodontal healing among students and clinicians alike.
