Description

I wrote this book after witnessing, from close quarters, one of the most profound national transformations of our time.

Saudi Arabia’s journey toward 2030 is often discussed in terms of targets, reforms, and ambitious announcements. But what I experienced while living and working in the Kingdom was something deeper — a transformation driven by disciplined execution, institutional reform, digital systems, and a fundamental shift in how a nation organizes itself for the future.
Saudi Arabia in 2030: A Transformation the World Has Never Seen is my attempt to document and interpret this journey through the lens I know best: large-scale enterprise transformation. As a technology leader and entrepreneur, I have spent years working with complex systems, governance models, digital platforms, and execution frameworks. What struck me was how closely Saudi Arabia’s national transformation mirrored the principles required to successfully transform large organizations — clarity of vision, strong governance, intelligent capital deployment, human capability development, and the courage to adapt continuously.
This book does not aim to promote or criticize. Instead, it seeks to understand. It explores how Vision 2030 is being translated into operating models across energy, technology, education, healthcare, finance, tourism, and culture — not as isolated initiatives, but as interconnected systems designed to scale and endure.
Throughout the chapters, I share applied examples and execution insights drawn from real transformation environments. These are not theoretical reflections, but practical observations intended to help leaders, policymakers, professionals, and global readers understand how vision becomes reality.
As 2030 approaches, I believe Saudi Arabia’s experience offers lessons that extend far beyond its borders. This book is written for those who wish to look beyond assumptions, appreciate the discipline behind ambition, and understand how a nation can reshape its future through execution, technology, and human resolve.
