Book Name :Agentic AI At Risk
The rapid evolution of agentic AI systems that can act, adapt, and decide
independently represents both an extraordinary leap in technology and a profound
source of concern. I was inspired to write this book after witnessing how quickly
conversations about innovation overshadow the very real risks these systems
introduce. Each year, we see headlines about identity fraud, deepfakes, and security
breaches, yet the growing autonomy of AI has only started to test the limits of our
defenses and laws.
This book is the product of my desire to bridge two critical worlds: the technical
realities of cybersecurity and the legal frameworks struggling to keep pace. In my
research and professional journey, I have seen how fragile the balance between
innovation and security can be and how unprepared many institutions remain for the
challenges ahead.
I owe gratitude to colleagues, mentors, and peers who encouraged this project and
shared their insights. Their input shaped my thinking and strengthened the arguments
that follow. Without their contributions, this book would not exist.
Above all, I hope this work sparks meaningful dialogue. Agentic AI is not a distant
possibility; it is already here. By facing its risks with clear eyes, we can begin to
build the trust, defenses, and laws that will allow society to benefit from autonomy
without succumbing to its dangers.
