A Guide to Civil Service Rules in Tamil Nadu

Praise the Lord! I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13). I thank the Lord Jesus Christ for giving this opportunity to write this book. On memory of my beloved parents Rajendran and Muthammal this book has been written and dedicated. Special thanks to my grandchildren Christina Roshini, Reenu Adeline and Aaron Matthew for helping me in designing the book cover pages. The Author Jeyandra Xavier commenced his service as Junior Assistant in the office of the Commissioner of Revenue Administration and Disaster Management and by virtue of promotions he served as office Superintendent dealing with Civil Service Rules. He also served as Deputy Tahsildar/Tahsildar/Deputy Collector/Assistant Commissioner and finally retired as District Revenue Officer in Tamil Nadu Civil Service. After retirement he worked as Guest faculty as Office Administration in the Anna Institute of Management for giving foundation training to Group 1 and Group 2 officers for nearly 10 years. With these experiences, it prompted him to write this guide for Government Servants for their easy reference.
