Rashmi Singh is a writer born and raised in the Kushinagar district of Uttar Pradesh. She completed her graduation in Commerce and earned a Bachelor of Education degree from Lucknow University. With a deep love for storytelling and little certainty about the path ahead, she moved to Mumbai, facing the realities of a new city while holding on to her dream. To sustain herself, Rashmi began working in the corporate sector, even as she quietly searched for a way into the creative world, which she longed to be part of. Her perseverance led her to the Hindi television industry, where she worked across several fiction shows on prominent channels and production houses. Beginning as an intern and Assistant Director, she slowly grew into the role of Creative Head through years of learning, patience, and resilience. After spending years in bringing others' stories to life, Rashmi took a conscious break to finally tell her own. Ila, inspired by Hindu mythology, is the result of that long-held dream—and marks her debut as an author and the beginning of the Luna Series.
