We didn’t lose our values. We lost something far more dangerous: consequence. In the last
decade, the digital world rewired the human mind in ways we never acknowledged. We
became louder, quicker, more reactive, yet strangely hollow. Everyone is performing; no
one is reflecting. Every platform rewards confidence, even when it’s fake, while every
human still craves authenticity, even when they can no longer recognise it. Somewhere in
that gap, something broke — and we never stopped to ask what.
ERASED is a clear, bold examination of how social media quietly dismantled the
psychological systems that once kept us sane: accountability, restraint, truth, responsibility,
consequence. Not through addiction or distraction, but through a complete redesign of how
humans behave, think, respond, and evaluate themselves. This is not a lecture; it is a
mirror. It reveals why people behave differently online and offline, why attention
outweighs integrity, why conversations feel staged, why outrage feels addictive, why
visibility gets mistaken for competence, and why we keep losing ourselves even when we
know it's happening.
If you’ve ever felt the world shifting under your feet — if you’ve sensed something “off” in
modern behaviour, or noticed a quiet psychological decay no one wants to talk about —
you are not imagining it. You are simply noticing what others have learned to ignore.
ERASED makes those invisible changes visible again. It will not comfort you, and it will
not flatter you. But it will wake you up. And once you see the truth, you will not be able to
unsee it.

Aman Kumar Sharma was born and raised in the serene yet isolated Andaman and Nicobar
Islands, where simplicity, community, and real-world consequences shaped his early worldview.
He completed his engineering degree in Trivandrum, Kerala, before stepping into the corporate
world in 2015 — a decade-long journey that would see him wear many hats across customer
service, sales, business operations, and customer success.
Despite professional success, Aman was never content with the traditional 9–5 rhythm. A fast
learner with a restless curiosity, he constantly sought new challenges and deeper meaning beyond
the boundaries of a desk job. This pursuit led him to the martial art of Muay Thai, where he
competed professionally and earned national-level silver and bronze medals — a testament to his
discipline, resilience, and refusal to settle for mediocrity.
His entrepreneurial spirit later found expression in the world of startups and creativity. He
founded a digital marketing agency and launched projects like Trippy Planet, a bold exploration
of art, psychology, and philosophy, and Ask Krishna, a spiritual AI platform inspired by ancient
Indian wisdom. He even ventured briefly into the entertainment world, appearing in Netflix’s
acclaimed series Kaala Paani.
These diverse experiences — from corporate boardrooms to combat arenas, from creative
ventures to philosophical explorations — shaped Aman’s understanding of human behavior and
the shifting dynamics of our digital age. His debut book, Erased, is the culmination of that
journey. Blending psychology, philosophy, sociology, and deeply personal reflection, it examines
how social media has erased the cost of our actions — and what humanity must do to reclaim the
weight of consequence.
For Aman, Erased is more than a book; it is a statement — a call to pause, reflect, and remember
what we lose when our actions stop carrying weight, and how rediscovering consequence might
just save the human soul.
