Ramkrishna Paul, hailed from a village named Dhallarpar, Sitalkuchi, Mathabhanga, Dist. Cooch Behar, West Bengal, India, come of a poor peasant family, parents Subodh Chandra Paul, Suniti Paul, has been so fond of writing poems in Bengali and English simultaneously and reading the same of others since childhood. He used to help his father in the work of cultivation like ploughing land, sowing seeds and harvesting. His primary education was taken from Nagar Dakaliganj primary and then High School. He passed higher secondary from Mathabhanga High School. He was an English graduate with honours from Mathabhanga college and completed Masters in distance mode from Periyar University, Salem. He was not one born with a golden spoon in mouth. He used to participate in recitation in different cultural function in their village since childhood. He was fond of all types of game but cricket is his favourite one. After graduation he moved to Siliguri and took up tuition nearly a profession.
