Microeconomic Diaries: School Goers Edition

The author can be described as an energetic, curious and logical teenage writer driven by passion alongside creativity. His love for economics emerged in the 6th grade, post a workshop in school about financial literacy & economics. The inquisitiveness led to taking the first step of being a changemaker; he visualised, wrote and published a microeconomic book for children. He has travelled extensively and successfully participated in numerous Model United Nations (MUN) conferences, developing a global perspective and a strong interest in world affairs. Living with type 1 diabetes has fostered resilience, discipline, and an analytical mindset. From a young age, he has been fascinated by world flags, culture, economics, and data- driven analysis, especially in sports such as football and cricket. These interests led to the research paper “Flags and the Economy: Visualizing Economic Ideologies and National Transformations Through Symbolism.” He is also the creator of GeoEdventures, a geography, history and culture based quizzing game designed to make learning about the world interactive and engaging. Through his work, he aims to help young learners understand money, markets, and decision-making through practical, relatable examples.
