This book is about Nora, a metropolitan school girl navigating the challenges of a new school, friendships, and unexpected adventures. At first, Nora worries about fitting in, dealing with her younger sister Aura, and surviving the chaos of Class 5. Her classmates include allies, rivals, and a colorful cast of personalities that make school life both exciting and overwhelming.
The story, first talks about what happened in the fifth grade and then moves on and starts talking about what happens currently in the sixth grade. In the fifth grade, she embarks on magical adventures. A mysterious ancient queen, Queen Darkna, who only finds peace in violence. Post the great fight they had, sixth grade started. Nora’s normal life without any magic had begun, but that didn’t mean everything was okay. Either she and her friends had to face the different types of betrayal or they had to go on dangerous trips for silly reasons. Fifth and sixth grader was not easy for them. This book mostly comprises of adventures happening in-school, and maybe a little bit of fantasy.
This is a coming-of-age fantasy where a girl’s school diary transforms into an epic tale of friendship, rivalry, and courage against magical villains.
