My name is Dr. Sanjit Debnath, S/O Lt Sadhan Debnath from Tripura, Northeast India and I received my Ph.D. from Tripura University in India under the guidance of Prof. Ajay Krishna Saha, Professor, Dept. of Botany. I have six years of research and teaching experience (in College and University). I've worked as a guest lecturer at Swami Vivekananda Mahavidyalaya in Mohanpur, West Tripura district, Tripura (2021-2022), Netaji Subhash Mahavidyalaya in Udaipur, Tripura (2020-2021), Dasaratha Deb Memorial College in Khowai, Tripura (2019-2020), MBB College (2021-2022), RTM Bishalgarh (2024 to till date) and Techno College of Engineering Agartala (2024-till date). On November 5, 2020, I won one of the most prestigious SITARE-GYTI 2020 appreciation awards from Hon'ble Union Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Science and Technology, and Earth Sciences of India. I have published 37 research publications in both international and national journals, along with 2 book chapters. The majority of these publications are in journals that are UGC, Web of Science, SCI, and SCOPUS listed with impact factors. With a strong interest in environmental education and sustainable development, my book is dedicated to promoting awareness about ecological balance, climate change, and responsible environmental practices through teaching and writing. As the author of this book, my aim is to make complex environmental concepts accessible to students, researchers, and general readers. My work focuses on key issues such as biodiversity conservation, environmental pollution, natural resource management, and sustainable development. Alongside academic writing, I am actively engages in teaching, guiding students to understand the importance of environmental protection and scientific thinking.

After two decades of working across various IT disciplines, I began to feel a sense of ennui. Over the course of my career, I contributed to numerous website and software development projects. However, exhaustion led me to seek a new direction, and I eventually stepped away, making slow progress on a project that had initially sparked great enthusiasm. My true passion, academia, holds a special place in my heart. This book, Python Essentials with Database Applications, is the second in line after Data Structures & Program Design in C and is primarily designed for students studying in high school or college. Future volumes are planned on advanced Python topics, including object-oriented programming, GUI development, and web applications. As both an educator and a computer programmer, I approach my classes with a mindset of learning rather than merely teaching.
