The idea for Ageing Gracefully was conceived a few years ago when I jumped all the hurdles and landed in my 70’s still healthy and going strong. I felt good about it and made a resolution that I must write a book on Ageing Gracefully. Sometimes ideas come dime a dozen, Covid-19 struck the world, and we started having lockdowns and several social restrictions imposed on us, mind you for our own good as the experts would have us believe. The only difference is that fallen leaves from trees regrow while our fallen or lost hair will not and there will be a void. Other attributes of getting old are our integumentary system (our skin) starts to sag, wrinkles begin to appear and creaking bones joints, aches and pains take over. We start to think that we are not young anymore. While all this is happening, we occasionally come across senior citizens who are blessed with that eternal youthful looks and charm, indeed the envy of all of us somewhat in a good way as we can draw inspiration from those members of our elite seniors group. This book, I hope will spread the word to all seniors that we do still have a lot to contribu
