Dr. Savita Sharma is an alumnus of IHM, Lucknow and holds more than 22 years of experience. She is presently working as Chairperson & Skill Associate Professor for the Skill Department of Tourism & Hospitality & Dy. Controller of Examination at Shri Vishwakarma Skill University, Gurgaon (India's First Government Skill University). She has worked with the prestigious institutions like G D Goenka University, Gurgaon as Professor & Head of School; Amity University, Noida; Sushant University, Gurgaon; Ansal Institute of Technology, Gurgaon; IHM, Mumbai and CT Institute, Jalandhar. She is a ?Certified Hospitality Educator? from American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute and received various awards and prizes like ?Best Research Paper Awards?, ?Best Groomed Trainee Award by Hyatt Regency, New Delhi?, First Position in Quiz Competition at National Level organized by All India Radio and she is also the recipient of First Position in Table-Tennis at National Level organized by K.V. Sangthan. She is also the recipient of Silver Award in the category of Hospitality Educator of the Year 2021 during Indian Hospitality Excellence Awards organized by Hospitality Group. She has presented and published more than 50 research papers in National and International Conferences, where six papers are published in Scopus indexed and others in reputed journals. She has authored five books for various universities. She has successfully completed ?Faculty Research Fellow? program from IIT Delhi, completed certificate courses on ?Training of Trainers? organized by IIT Madras and ?Developing Soft Skills and Personality? organized by IIT Kanpur under Swayam initiatives. Her area of expertise includes Front Office, Training, Soft Skills, Motivation, Team building, Corporate Social Responsibility, Consumer behaviour, Customer Relationship Management & Hospitality Management. Before this book, she wrote Papa Says, a book of considerable value.
