This book depicts the story of a brilliant university girl called Jyoti who was not allowed to study by her rickshaw driver father because he wanted to get her married. So he arranged for a gang to kidnap her in the middle of the night and thus sold her to them for a mere Rs.42,000/-. The later narrative tells us the various sufferings she had to undergo to keep her innocence and retain her virginity. Meanwhile, we also learn about the heinous trafficking of children and teenager girls.
