Dr Jay immigrated to Australia from India in July 1971 to undertake his PhD studies in biochemistry. He then joined the pharmaceutical industry via multinational corporations, Fisons and 3M, where he successfully developed a broad range of pharmaceutical products and researched into their medical application. After a chance meeting with late Bob Lucy, one of the pioneers in advancing the use of nutritional supplements in Australia, Dr Jay successfully transitioned to natural therapies working across research and development, manufacturing and quality control. He retired from commercial assignments as a General Manager at the age of 52 and started his own company with various interests. He continues to be involved in the industry but in a much less involved way. Now at the age of 76, Dr Jay intends to share the knowledge he has gained from over 45 years of experience in the health and wellness industry. After completing his first book successfully Dr. Jay has embarked upon writing books on several topics relating to Age and Well-being and eventually hopes to publish them in due course. This, his second book is based on seniors in our community and the ageing process and firmly believes that Ageing Gracefully is every senior’s right and expectation.
