Pattammal. Bheema Shankar's contributions to the music industry are remarkably diverse, spanning roles as a playback singer, music director, and creator of music for various mediums, including films, short films, devotional music albums, Punjabi album, jingles, and fusion music concerts. One of the standout performances in his career involves singing the Bhagavad Gita in Telugu across various ragas, earning repeated telecasts on Doordarshan.
