My Parenting Story is about me and my children. I graduated as a physical therapist from Mumbai university in 1985. After completing the master's programme, I was a lecturer at the physical therapy school. Here too I was known to be a disciplinarian. In 1994 I went to the US with my husband. I continued with my profession. I stayed and worked in Tennessee and later in Florida. The children were born there. We decided to move back to Mumbai in 2002. I am an independent clinical practitioner. I am also involved in voluntary medical counselling for patients on chemotherapy at a hospital in Navi Mumbai. I am passionate about reading which is a habit I inculcated early in life. As a young girl while in school I loved spending time in the library. I also did story telling for kindergarten children for a while.Recently I started writing. This book is an attempt to tell my story which will strike a chord with young mothers, teachers, grandparents.
