Chaitanya is a Decluttering Consultant at MirraKi and a Certified KonMari Consultant, but more than that, she is someone who truly believes that the space around us affects how we feel inside. She has seen how small changes—like tidying up a room, choosing what to keep, or learning to share—can make a big difference in our lives and the world around us.Her love for decluttering didn’t start with organizing—it started with understanding the way we buy, use, and care for things. As a child, she learned about taking care of the planet in school, and those lessons stayed with her. That little seed of awareness grew over time, shaping how she lives today. She hopes Mira’s Decluttering Adventures will plant that same seed in young hearts, showing them how even small actions can create a happier home and a healthier planet.This is her first book, and she wrote it to make decluttering fun, exciting, and meaningful for children and families. Her work has been longlisted for the Booker Prize, and shortlisted for the James Tait Black Award, the Women's Prize, the GuardianFirst Book Award and the Walter Scott Prize. The Wilderness was awarded the Betty Trask Prize. She is a tutor on the MA course in Creative Writing at Bath Spa University.
