Zubair Arif was raised in Kashmir. He pursued his bachelor’s degree in Delhi at Jamia Millia Islamia and later completed his higher education in Turkey, where he lived for five years. During this period, he underwent formal language training in Turkish and later in Arabic in the UAE, making him multilingual. He is currently running an experiential travel company based in Kashmir and resides in the UAE, where he is professionally engaged. Zubair published his debut novel, In Search of Lost Home, in 2019 while he was in college. He has been actively associated with writing since his high school years.
