The author, Vishwajeet Cheetoo, graduated in Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science, obtained a Master’s degree in International Relations from Sorbonne, and underwent a ‘Cycle de Perfectionnement’ at the Ecole Nationale d’Administration(l’ENA), in France. He also had advanced training in development diplomacy in Germany, and served as a diplomat in many countries, including India. The author thus had a very wide exposure to the cultures of the world, and has a sound comparative knowledge of the issues about India discussed in this book. Mr Vishwajeet Cheetoo appreciates humility, very high standards and excellence, and believes in giving back to society what one has acquired from the world.
