Smitha Menon Kizhuveetil holds a postgraduate degree in English Literature. She is a passionate educator, with the designation of HSST English, in the Kerala Government Service, with over a decade of teaching experience across various institutions. Literature, especially poetry has had a great influence on Smitha and she has penned poems in both English and Malayalam. Indian Classical Performing Art forms have always interested her and she is a trained Mohiniyattam performer too. Smitha lives at Irinjalakuda in Kerala. The novel 'The House of Dragonflies' marks her debut as an author.
