Samiksha 'Sam' J, is a 17-year-old writer with a passion for storytelling. An INTP-T, a sworn future cat-lady and a lifelong reader, she discovered her love for reading through fiction series such as Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, and The Hunger Games. She began writing poetry and fanfiction at age 10, exploring themes of fantasy and AUs and eventually delving into love, resilience, and the human experience.
Her debut novel, All The Letters Never Sent, blends the intrigue of a murder mystery with the exploration of self identity and the challenges of navigating high-pressure academic environments. She found a distinct lack of Indian literature exploring queer characters in a fictional setting and thus wrote this book to bring characters close to home to her work, filling a gap she felt in much of the fiction she grew up reading.
When not immersed in her studies or writing, Sam loves reading diverse genres, engaging with mythology-inspired tales, and participating in fandom spaces. With a voice that bridges personal passion and social relevance, Sam aims to bring underrepresented narratives to life through her work.
