Some folk songs feel like they belong to every generation. This tender Tamil rhyme has been passed down through voices, smiles, and memories—and now it is one of my own child’s favourites. Watching her light up every time she hears it inspired me to preserve it in a book.As my second book and my first book in Tamil, this work is deeply personal.
