Dr. Midhun K. S. is currently serving as Assistant Professor of Malayalam and Research Guide at Sree Krishna College, Guruvayur, affiliated with the University of Calicut. His academic contributions span linguistics, tribal studies, and literary scholarship. He has edited and published Malanaattuvazhakkam, a linguistic study, and Tribes of Idamalayar, a monograph focusing on a Dravidian tribal language. Dr. Midhun has also edited the research methodology text Gaveshanareethishastram: Sidhandhavum Prayogavum, and translated the classical Tamil anthology Purananuru into Malayalam. Notably, he has successfully completed the Dravidian Onomastics Project, supported by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi.
