A fiction author for the first time in her eighties, she wonders why she did not start earlier. The gentle flow of this murder story shows her dislike of violence and gore. Malathi was a professor of Nutrition, Dietetics and Food Service Management for all her teaching years. They were " fun filled years" she says. " You are young at heart when you are with the young". Malathi's interests are, music, acting, reading and writing, of course, which she has perused even from her student days. When her first writings were rejected by a prominent news paper, her spirit of writing continued till over 60 of her writings were published by the same news paper!
