About the Author – K B Janaki
K B Janaki is a dynamic and versatile writer whose work spans fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and academic prose. One of her early contributions was to the book முக்கனிகளைப் பற்றிய முக்கியமான தகவல்கள், published in 2017. She is also a skilled translator. Two major Tamil-to-English translations are currently awaiting publication.
Janaki holds an M.Phil in English Literature from Chevalier T. Thomas Elizabeth College for Women. Her specialization was in contemporary narratives and cultural criticism. Her research—Beliefs, Prejudices and Train Journeys: A Study of Select Works by Bishwanath Ghosh—reflects her curiosity about travel writing and identity. She has published academic papers in national and international journals such as Kala: The Journal of Indian Art History Congress and the anthology Retelling Indian Myths: An Enquiry.
Professionally, she wears many hats. She is an educator, proofreader, and content writer. She is actively involved in student enrichment through writing and communication.
