J. S. Gahlaut is a retired Fire Officer having more than 40 years of professional experience. He has served in reputed organizations like Steel Authority of India Ltd., National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd., National Organic Chemicals Ltd. and State Bank of India. During his service period, he was member of Standing Fire Advisory Committee, Govt. of India, which is highest body of fire officers in the country. He was also member of both the fire Safety committees of Bureau of Indian Standards. These committees formulate fire safety recommendations for the country.
