Dr. Bijay Kumar Verma has over 38 years of teaching experience of undergraduate and post-graduate in Political Science. He has an excellent academic record to his credit. He secured first-class honors and topped the list of successful candidates for the B.A. (Honors) degree in 1970 from Patna College, Patna University. Dr. Verma received his Ph.D degree in 1985 from Bhagalpur University under the guidance of Dr. Haridwar Rai, former Professor and Head of the Department, Political Science, Bhagalpur University. Dr. Verma retired from active service at B.N. Mandal University, Madhepura, Bihar in March 2017. He is currently engaged in analysing contemporary social and political developments, and writing this book marks an important step in that intellectual journey.
