Anand’s trading journey spans over 16 years, a path carved through Indian Equities, futures and options and international crude oil markets.
He knows firsthand the highs of market wins and the humbling painful lessons of losses.
Before dedicating full time to markets, Anand worked in senior positions in Trading & Risk Management roles managing flat price, Options book in Reliance Industries Limited and Essar Oil UK Limited. His formal education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and pursuing post graduate studies in Clinical Psychology, blending the logical rigor of engineering with the emotional insights of human behavior.
Anand is a CMT (Chartered Market Technician), ERP (Energy Risk Professional) and EPAT (Executive Programme in Algorithmic Trading) certificate holder, reflecting his deep technical understanding of markets and risk.
He is also a certified CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) Practioner, with additional training in REBT (Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy), specializing in applying psychological tools to trading and investment behavior.
But titles and certificates only tell part of the story.
Anand’s real education came from the markets themselves- from blowing up accounts, struggling through emotional sabotage, facing depression and anxiety and ultimately rebuilding both his trading strategies and trading mind.
This book was born form his belief that success in trading is just not about mastering the charts but it’s also about mastering yourself.
And that anyone willing to confront their inner patterns honestly, patiently and persistently can transform their journey. Not just as a trader but also as a person.
